The level of beta(3)-adrenoceptor expression in the study groups was significantly higher than the Sham group (P < 0.01). beta(3)-adrenoceptor expression in the Carvedilol group was lower than the Heart Failure Control and Metoprolol groups (P < 0.01).
If the levels of beta(3)-AR were too high, they might contribute to the loss of cardiac function and be the foundation of the functional degradation of HF.
