In this study, to assess an involvement of LPA receptor genes in the development of human cancer cells, we looked for the presence of mutations in LPA receptor 1-6 (LPA1-6) genes in MG63 osteosarcoma, HT1080 fibrosarcoma, A549 lung adenocarcinoma, MCF-7 breast carcinoma, and G-361 melanoma cells.
The present study aimed to assess the B rapidly accelerated fibrosarcoma (BRAFV600E) status in plasma from Chinese patients with melanoma, and evaluated its prognostic value following treatment with BRAF inhibitors.
The FUS-CREB3L2 fusion transcripts were not detected in any of the 123 other soft-tissue tumors, including desmoid-type fibromatoses, myxofibrosarcomas, soft-tissue perineuriomas, and congenital or adult fibrosarcomas.
Transfection of a human fibrosarcoma cell line with chloramphenicol acetyltransferase expression plasmids linked to a 5'-flanking deletion mutants of the IL-8 gene demonstrated that the nucleotides between -94 and -71 base pairs from the start of the first exon are essential and sufficient for the IL-8 induction by either IL-1, TNF, or phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate.
Subsequently, 22 markers from this region (including the intragenic Pten marker) were used to study the occurrence of allelic imbalance in distal RNO1 in fibrosarcomas that had been induced by DMBA in F1(BNxLE) rats.
Here, we review the biological relevance of Sox2 and Sox9 genes in osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma and chordoma; Sox2, Sox6, and Sox17 genes in Ewing's sarcoma; Sox2, Sox9, and Sox10 genes in synovial sarcoma; Sox2 gene in fibrosarcoma; and Sox21 gene in liposarcoma.
A total of eight different human STS cell lines were used in the study: Fibrosarcoma (HT1080), liposarcoma (SW872, T778 and MLS‑402), synovial sarcoma (SW982, SYO1 and 1273) and pleomorphic sarcoma (U2197).
Sonication of xenograft HT1080 fibrosarcoma tumors released extracellular vesicles that contained detectable RAC1 mRNA with the highly tumorigenic N92I mutation known to exist in HT1080 cells.
The highly oncogenic v-jun allele capable of inducing neoplastic transformation in avian fibroblasts and fibrosarcomas in chicken as a single oncogenic event, was generated by mutation of the cellular c-jun gene during retroviral transduction.
Furthermore, in PTEN-expressing rapidly accelerated fibrosarcoma 1 (B-RAF)-mutant melanoma cells, RO4929097 enhanced the effect of temozolomide both in vitro and in vivo.
Among these, compound <b>6b</b> induced a significant reduction in the expression level of CDK9 (cyclin-dependent kinase 9)/cyclin T1 in CFPAC-1 cells concomitant with attenuation of proliferative signaling mediated by c-Raf (rapidly accelerated fibrosarcoma) and p38 MAP (mitogen-activated protein) kinases.
Western blotting was used to assess the expression levels of the MAPK and Hippo pathway effector proteins: rapidly accelerated fibrosarcoma-1 proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase (RAF-1); serine/threonine kinase 3 (STK3; also known as MST-2); yes-associated protein (YAP); and tafazzin (TAZ).

VEGF gene silencing efficiency of PAM-ABP/siRNA polyplexes was shown to be more effective than PEI/siRNA polyplexes in three cell lines with the following order HT1080>A549>Huh-7.
Partial protection against a challenge with NFSA(MART1) could be achieved with i.m. injections of a MART-1 expression plasmid or with systemic administration of an adenovirus vector expressing MART-1.
We provide new evidence of WWOX alterations in osteosarcomas and demonstrate for the first time alterations of this gene in fibrosarcomas as well as in ossifying fibromas of the jaws.

Thus, the human RANTES chemokine can abolish tumorigenicity of an immunogenic fibrosarcoma in an in vivo murine model, and this process is mediated by various subpopulations of immune effector cells.
