Together with the elevated SF-1 expression in adrenal glands, hyperactivation of insulin signaling led to increased aldosterone and corticosterone levels.
Considering these differential effects of SF-1 on aldosterone production, these results might provide a new insight into the understanding of hyperaldosteronism.
