There was no significant difference in the intake of water, fat, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, vitamin A, carotene, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin C. However, carbohydrate intake was significantly higher in the urinary incontinence group than in the control group (median [interquartile range]: 282.3 g/day [214.7; 352.0] vs 267.7 g/day [212.6; 339.1]; P = 0.041).
