protein/RNA levels of β-catenin (CTNNB1), its responsive markers [CyclinD1, c-Myc], Androgen receptor (AR), p27 and class-I HDACs were measured in matched UF/MM tissues or cell populations.
In both cell types, the transcription of the two genes resulted induced by IFNα but the IFI27 transcription stimulation was weaker in leiomyoma than myometrial cells whereas the TRAIL transcription stimulation resulted stronger in leiomyoma respect myometrial cells.
