We performed simultaneous expression analysis of miR-1, miR-133a, miR-133b in samples of infarcted tissue and remote myocardium from twenty- four patients with acute myocardial infarction.
Subsequent validation in an independent patient group confirmed that miR‑133b and miR‑22‑5p were significantly up‑regulated in the serum of patients with AMI.
