Purpose Hand-foot syndrome is a common dose limiting toxicity of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors used for treatment of patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
We found that the VEGFrs2010963 CG + GG genotypes had a significantly increased risk of hand-foot syndrome, and the ABCB1 rs1045642 CT + TT genotypes had an increased risk of high blood pressure.
