These results indicated that the MDR<sub>1</sub>/CYP3A4/OPRM<sub>1</sub> gene polymorphisms influenced the fentanyl consumption and the physiological effects of intravenous analgesia in the Chinese women who received lower segment caesarean section surgeries.
