The aim of the study was to investigate whether β-arr1 participated in PGE<sub>2</sub> /EP<sub>4</sub> receptor-mediated mucosal proliferation by recruiting the Src/EGF receptor (EGFR) complex to activate Akt/proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) signalling in PHG.
β-arr1 limited the activation of p65 to repress TNF-α-induced inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression and NO release, which could regulate ER stress/PUMA-mediated mucosal apoptosis in PHG.
