Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) has been shown to ameliorate liver inflammation and fibrosis; however, the mechanism underlying its effects in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is unclear.
This study aimed to investigate the anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, and anti-lipogenic effects of exogenous administration of feline HGF on a non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) mouse model.
To study the histological changes caused by transfection of the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) gene using electroporation (EP) in a non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) cirrhotic liver model.
