This study of patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) evaluated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation status and two serum markers, serum insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1) and IGF binding protein 3 (IGFBP3), for their associations to response to gefitinib therapy and for their prognostic impact.
