We provide initial evidence that CX3CL1 exposure resulted in EMT occurrence and enhancement of cell migration and invasion through a mechanism involving activation of TACE/TGF-α/EGFR signaling.
Therefore, CX3CL1 in spinal cancellous bone attracts CX3CR1-expressing tumor cells to the spine and enhances their migration and invasion abilities through the Src/FAK signaling pathway.
Luciferase assay was performed to evaluate the interaction between miR-485-5p and CX3CL1, the effects of miR-485-5p on MG-63 cells were determined by subsequent experiments including cell proliferation, expression level of CX3CL1, detection of invasion and migration capacities.
