IL-17A rs2275913 and IL-17F rs763780 polymorphisms are significantly associated with susceptibility to RA and with different clinical characteristics of this disease.
With respect to IL-17F rs763780, the C versus T allele (OR = 1.94; P = 0.040), the TC versus TT (OR = 1.39; P = 0.041), the CC versus TT (OR = 2.71; P = 0.003), as well as the TC + CC versus TT genotype (OR = 1.83; P = 0.032) were risk factors for RA.
Our meta-analysis revealed significantly higher circulating IL-17 levels in patients with RA, and found evidence of associations between the IL-17A rs2275913, IL-17F rs763780 and IL-17A rs3819024 polymorphisms and pathogenesis of RA.
Knowing this, the aim of this study was to investigate the association of +2199 A/C IL-23R (rs10889677), -197 G/A IL-17A (rs2275913), and +7488 A/G IL-17F (rs763780) gene polymorphisms with RA susceptibility and clinical features in a Brazilian population.
The present study aimed to determine the association between the polymorphic variants of the IL-17A (rs2275913), IL-17F (rs763780) and IL-23R (rs11209026) genes and RA susceptibility, progression and response to therapy with TNF-α inhibitors.
We investigated the association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and His161Arg (7488A/G; rs763780) and Glu126Gly (7383A/G; rs2397084) polymorphism of IL-17F gene.
