Logistic regression analysis was conducted to assess the association between polymorphisms in the promoter of miR-143/miR-145 and risk of lung cancer females.
The tumor suppression effects of CL-pVAX-miR-143 were evaluated in early-stage and advanced experimental lung cancer metastasis mice models by systemic delivery, respectively, and also in subcutaneous tumor models by intratumoral injection.
However, whether overexpression of miR-143 in lung cancer cells will affect the cell behaviors, such as proliferation or some underlying pathway, is largely unknown.
The up-regulated miR-143 in lung cancer could significantly inhibit cell migration and invasion, and this might work through targeting CD44v3, which was newly identified by us.
