MicroRNA-760 acts as a tumor suppressor in gastric cancer development <i>via</i> inhibiting G-protein-coupled receptor kinase interacting protein-1 transcription.
A total of 104 genes showed differential expressions between EBVaGC and normal tissues, which were associated with digestion, G-protein coupled receptor binding, gastric acid secretion, etc.
The expression of CXCL12 in lymph node and liver metastasis was higher than that in primary gastric cancer tissues (<i>χ</i>2 = 6.669, <i>P</i> = 0.010; <i>χ</i>2 = 25379, <i>P</i> = 0.000), and the expression of CXCL12 in lymph node and liver metastasis of gastric cancer was consistent with the positive expression of CXCR7 in primary gastric cancer (<i>r</i> = 0.338, <i>P</i> = 0.000; <i>r</i> = 0.629, <i>P</i> = 0.000).
The results showed that MeCP2 bound to the methylated CpG islands of G-protein-coupled receptor kinase-interacting protein 1 (GIT1) promoter and upregulated its expression, thereby activating the MEK1/2-ERK1/2 signaling pathway and promoting GC cell proliferation.
