The proteins extracted from a panel of 4 gastric cancer cell lines, two derived from primary cancer (AGS, FU97) and two from lymph node metastasis (AZ521, MKN7), were labeled with iTRAQ (8-plex) reagents and analyzed by 2D-LC-MALDI-TOF/TOF MS.
Notch1 and jagged1 were significantly more highly expressed in lymph node metastasis-positive tongue carcinoma (χ² = 6.108, P = 0.013; χ² = 7.354, P = 0.025).
We investigated the transcription and expression pattern of these four ectopeptidases in gastric carcinomas (GC), the corresponding non-neoplastic epithelium, a selection of lymph node metastases (LNM), and the MKN28, AGS, NCI-N87, KATO III gastric cancer cell lines.
