We conducted the present meta-analysis to explore the potential of HOXA11-AS as a common predictive biomarker for metastasis and prognosis in malignant tumors.
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been strongly associated with various types of cancer. this study was to explore the critical role of lncRNA HOXA11-AS in osteosarcoma (OS) progression.
RESULTS The qRT-PCR experiment results showed that HOXA11-AS expression in breast cancer tissue of 50 patients was relatively higher than that in tissue adjacent to cancer.
Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that HOXA11-AS was an independent prognostic factor in glioblastoma multiforme patients, and its expression was correlated with the glioma molecular subtypes of the Cancer Genome Atlas.
