Our data indicate that annexin A2 protein level is upregulated, whereas annexin A1 and α actinin 4 expression are downregulated in tumours with lymph node metastasis compared to those without lymphatic spread.
Annexin II is highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues, annexin II protein expression is related to tumor size, histological differentiation, TNM staging, lymph node metastasis and other clinical features were significantly correlated.
HE4 and annexin II expression levels were significantly higher in malignant epithelial ovarian tissues than in benign and normal epithelial ovarian tissues, and they were higher in tissues with lymph node metastases than in those without.
Taken together, we proposed that the aberrant expression of Annexin A2 and Cdc42 played a role in carcinogenesis, differentiation and metastasis of ESCC, which implied its potential target for clinical biomarkers in differentiation and lymph node metastasis.
