Overall, our results show that miR-613 inhibits glioma cell proliferation and invasion by downregulating CDK14, suggesting that miR-613 and CDK14 may serve as potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of glioma.
The serine/threonine-protein kinase PFTAIRE 1 (PFTK1) is a member of the cyclin‑dependent kinase family that is highly expressed in several malignant tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma, esophageal, breast and gastric cancers, and glioma.
These data show that PFTK1 may participate in the pathogenic process of glioma, suggesting that PFTK1 can become a potential therapeutic strategy for gastric cancer.
