As a proof of concept, the proposed immunosensor was utilized to detect 12 tumor markers (AFP, CEA, CYFRA21-1, NSE, SCC, PG I, PG II, CA19-9, total PSA, free PSA, free-β-hCG, Tg) and to screen patients with lung cancer, liver cancer, digestive tract cancer, prostatic cancer, etc.
Among extraprostatic tumors, PSA stained positive in 0-3 (1:800-1:100) of 19 osteosarcomas, 1-2 of 34 ovarian cancers, 0-2 of 35 malignant mesotheliomas, 0-1 of 21 thyroid gland carcinomas and 0-1 of 26 large cell lung cancers.
Here we report that a glutaminolytic enzyme, glutamate dehydrogenase 1 (GDH1), upregulated upon detachment via pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 (PLAG1), provides anti-anoikis and pro-metastatic signals in LKB1-deficient lung cancer.
Serum CA125, CA19-9, Ferritin, CA15-3, CA242, CEA, AFP, NSE, PSA, f-PSA, HGH, and β-HGH were assessed in 506 patients, with 224 patients with lung cancer (including 123 cases of adenocarcinoma, 30 squamous cell carcinoma, 54 small-cell carcinoma, and 17 non classification), 159 patients with benign lung disease and 90 healthy people control by the C-12 multiple tumor protein-chip detective system.
