Amentoflavone significantly inhibits tumor growth and reduces protein levels of phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (P-ERK), nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) p65 (Ser536), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), matrix metallopeptidase 9 (MMP-9), X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP), and cyclin-D1 in osteosarcoma in vivo.
The expression of p65 was upregulated in OS tissues, indicating that the effect of p65 inhibition on cell viability, apoptosis, and related mechanisms could be partially restored by miR-590 inhibition.
Silencing Ezrin suppressed and over-expressing Ezrin promoted the nuclear translocation of p65 and phosphorylated IκBα (p-IκBα) in EGF-induced osteosarcoma cells.
