We included patients who were diagnosed with CKD (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] < 60 mL·min-1·1.73 m-2 for ≥ 3 months) and followed up for at least 6 months.
The endpoint was defined as eGFR <60 mL·min-1·(1.73 m2)-1 estimated through the chronic kidney disease epidemiology collaboration equation (CKD-EPI).The study included 1094 participants.
The number of CD59-deficient patients was significantly different between the 3 subgroups of CKD patients (p = 0.001), and a significant difference was present in the MFI of CD55 and CD59 expression among the 3 subgroups (p = 0.04 and p = 0.03, respectively).
