We established a positive relation of seven upregulated (XLOC_000016, XLOC_002198, XLOC_002851, XLOC_ 007383, XLOC_010701, XLOC_010272, and XLOC_011517) and one downregulated (XLOC_011302) lncRNAs with eleven genes that are related to keratin family protein, keratin-associated protein family, cornifelin, corneodesmosin, serpin family protein, and metallothionein that have well-established role in squamous cell carcinoma through cellular communication, cell growth, cell invasion, and cell migration.
The correlation between low-methylation subgroup and IPF was further validated by quantitative methylation analysis of marker genes commonly hypermethylated in SCC (HOXA2, HOXA9 and PCDHGB6), and markers specifically hypermethylated in high-methylation subgroup (DLEC1, CFTR, MT1M, CRIP3 and ALDH7A1) in 77 SCC cases using pyrosequencing (p = 0.003).

Small nucleolar RNA host gene 3 facilitates cell proliferation and migration in oral squamous cell carcinoma via targeting nuclear transcription factor Y subunit gamma.

Presented study aims to explore the predictive values of serum microRNA-22 (miR-22) and miR-126 levels for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) development and metastasis.A total of 127 NSCLC patients who were admitted in the First People's Hospital of Yancheng City from May, 2013 to May, 2015 were selected as the case group, including 71 cases of adenocarcinoma and 56 cases of squamous cell carcinoma.
Gene expression data of 10 GSE series (5 HNSCCs and 5 cSCCs) were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs).
Esophageal cancer related gene-4 inhibits the migration and proliferation of oral squamous cell carcinoma through BC200 lncRNA/MMP-9 and -13 signaling pathway.
Finally, deletion of Jagged1 or Notch3 in KrasLSL-G12D/+;Pdx1-cre mice promoted development of squamous cell carcinoma in the forestomach, albeit short of invasive adenocarcinoma in the glandular stomach.
